ABOUT ME
As a Freelance Concept Artist and Illustrator, I have been working in Film, Television, VFX and Video Game Art Departments for over 20 years. My Film & TV clients include Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Walt Disney Pictures, Amazon Studios, Warner Brother Pictures, HBO, Netflix and many more.
From a young age, I was drawn to the art of visual storytelling through films, tv, and comics. Now, wether I’m illustrating environments or designing intricate props, weapons, futuristic vehicles, or imaginative creatures, I enjoy the creative process of bringing ideas to life. Recently, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to notable projects such as Wicked, Star Wars: Andor, Ghostbusters, Kraven the Hunter, and Eternals.
While most of my work now involves digital drawing & painting, often incorporating the use of a range of 3D software, I still enjoy every opportunity to go back to how I started - using pencil and paper. This traditional skill has distinguished my work and proven invaluable on many projects.
Going further back, I contributed concept art & designs for Game of Thrones, Wonder Woman, Snow White and the Huntsman, and three of the Harry Potter films. Prior to that I spent 5 years providing concept art for adventures across many time periods on Doctor Who. You can find a comprehensive film and tv credit listing on my IMDb page.
As an illustrator, my clients have included IDW Publishing, Dorling Kindersley, Panini Publishing, Carlton Books, and BBC Books. I’ve produced book covers, magazine illustration, cutaways, comic covers, poster and print designs, sketch cards and company logos.
I believe that the power of visuals can truly bring stories to life, and I’m committed to creating imaginative and captivating images that leave a lasting impact.
